I have been a massage therapist since 2009 and I absolutely love my work.

I am a mother to 3 sons, step mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.

PRACTITIONER DEVELOPMENT

Since 2009 I have attended many courses all over the country and invested thousands of pounds in my training and personal development. In 2010 I began training intensively with the NO HANDS® Massage Company. NO HANDS® massage is a powerful yet gently effective massage treatment which uses the wider surfaces of the arms to deliver a bigger, more comprehensive massage treatment. I also attended 5 years on their Mastery Training which is the advanced development of bringing Transactional Analysis (TA) communication into the treatments. I continued to qualify in many other holistic treatments and went forwards into teaching with Gateway Workshops whilst at the Inner Light Wellbeing Centre, in Manchester.

 

In 2010 I was empowered into the practice of Kriya Yoga by Yog~Martand Yogiraj Siddhanath.  

 

 

SO WHAT DO I DO....

I am not a beauty massage therapist. 

I don’t do sports massage or treatments that hurt.

I don't label myself as a healer or someone who ‘fixes’ people.

I deliver safe, honest, touch, with connection and nurturance. Within this touch, Transactional Analysis communication principles are combined which transports the massage into ‘Massage Therapy’. With clear communication and respectful boundaries, a treatment is built around the needs of each and every client, where support is offered in establishing skills to recognise and ask for what it is they require.



WHAT IS IT LIKE WORKING WITH ME.....
Treatments with me are blend of all the skills I have learnt over the years. I am trained in many types of massage and therapy, some of which are listed below.
Many clients mention that the time spent in my therapy space can be a mixture of nurturance, empowerment, a time to be heard, a place where ANY subject and discussion is witnessed and held without judgement. In a nutshell - safe. In between the anger, release, raw emotion and stillness, clients will tell you, there is always laughter to be found too - another of life's great natural healers.
